Important information on online licensing and an upcoming licensing services interruption

In late March 2024, AGLC is launching online licensing for liquor, cannabis and public special events. In preparation for the launch of online licensing, there will be a service interruption mid-March for all licence applications as technology upgrades are implemented. Submit your licensing applications early to avoid any delays. Learn more

    Club

    A private facility where non-profit organizations hold meetings and conduct activities.

    Canteens

    A facility for the Canadian forces, police services, or federal or provincial correctional training centres.

    Institutions

    A facility for post-secondary institutions or residential facilities, such as hospitals or nursing homes.

    Travellers' Lounge

    A room in a public transportation terminal, such as an airport lounge restricted to passengers waiting to board.

    A Class A, B, or C licence may be extended to provide liquor service at a function away from the licensed premises.
