Racing Entertainment Centre Bulletin

This bulletin is to advise all racing entertainment centre facility licensees, registered gaming workers and sportsbook registrants of IMPORTANT AMENDMENTS to the Racing Entertainment Centre Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines (RECTCOG). The following policies are effective March 17, 2026.
AGLC is committed to reviewing policies to meet the needs of stakeholders, while maintaining an effective regulatory environment. As part of the introduction of sportsbook in licensed gaming facilities, policy amendments have been made to Sections 8 and 15, as well as the addition of Section 17 in the RECTCOG:
- Subsections 8.9, 8.11, 8.13 and 15.1 – minor policy amendments pertaining to requirements for facility licensees in regard to sportsbook, including updates to AML policies and general requirements for facility licensees.
- Section 17 was added to incorporate regulatory requirements for registered gaming terminal dealers (Sportsbook Terminal Dealers) and registered gaming suppliers related to sportsbook operations (e.g., oddsmakers, independent integrity monitors).
The amended RECTCOG can be accessed online.
Please familiarize yourself with the amended policies, update your Racing Entertainment Centre Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines as required, and ensure all affected staff are notified of the new requirements.
