AGLC Prize Payout Offices Closed until further notice

To limit the exposure of the novel coronavirus to staff and the public, AGLC’s Prize Payout Offices in Calgary and St. Albert are now closed to the public until further notice.

Customers can still claim prizes up to and including $1,000 through a lottery retailer. With our current closure, you must contact the Western Canada Lottery Corporation’s (WCLC) Customer Care Line at 1-800-665-3313 to claim any prizes over $1,000.

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and the closure of prize offices and many retail locations, the Interprovincial Lottery Corporation (ILC) and its’ member organizations have directed that consumers with tickets having draws that would expire on or between March 17th 2020 to September 17th, 2020 will be provided an extension of 6 months (548 days total) to redeem their wins.

With developments around COVID-19 continuously evolving, WCLC may take an extended time investigating and paying out prizes. Please visit the WCLC website here for more information on mailing in your ticket.

If you choose to mail in your ticket, please be sure to follow all directions provided by WCLC.  For more information, please call WCLC’s Customer Care Line at 1-800-665-3313. However, if you choose to mail your ticket, please take a picture of it and make a photocopy for your records. All risks of sending tickets through the mail remain with the player.

AGLC staff will still be available to assist claimants via email and will continue to support players through these changes. All Prize Payout Office inquiries should be sent to AGLC via email (payoutsa@aglc.ca). Following your email inquiry, a representative from Player Services will contact you. All inquiries will be addressed.
