This bulletin is to advise iGaming Suppliers of IMPORTANT AMENDMENTS to the Standards and Requirements for Internet Gaming (SRIG). The following policy amendments are effective March 17, 2026.

AGLC is committed to reviewing policies to meet the needs of stakeholders, while maintaining an effective regulatory environment. As a result, a policy amendment has been made to Section 4.6 of the SRIG:

  • The Sports and Event Betting standard at Subsection 4.6.5 has been amended as follows:
    • 4.6.5 p) has been added to prohibit betting on political events (e.g., elections, by-elections, leadership contests).

The amended SRIG may be accessed online.

Please familiarize yourself with the amended policies, update your Standards and Requirements for Internet Gaming as required, and ensure all affected staff are notified of the new requirements.
