More ways to fundraise
AGLC provides raffle licences, which give charities and community organizations an easy way to fundraise. Think: hockey teams, dance groups, food banks and more. Volunteers from these groups participate in gaming events like casinos, bingos, raffles where all proceeds go back to their organization.
More communities served
Through gaming revenues, AGLC has helped uplift communities and groups across Alberta. From sports to education, research to youth outreach, the lives of many Albertans have been enriched by these charitable gaming proceeds.
More ways to play
Play Alberta launched in 2020 as the province’s only legal online gambling website and added sports betting to its roster of gaming options in 2021. In addition to online gaming experiences, Albertans have access to 19 traditional casinos, five Host First Nations casino and four racing entertainment centres.

In addition to giving Albertans more ways to play, AGLC also provides Albertans with access to more responsible-gambling tools and supports than ever before.
