AGLC begins annual surveys of Albertans

AGLC to assess performance, public awareness with annual surveys

Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis’ (AGLC) annual satisfaction surveys will provide valuable input on the gaming, liquor and cannabis industries in Alberta and AGLC’s performance in serving Albertans. Surveys are being conducted online and by phone throughout February and March.

These include:

Survey of Albertans:

  • Survey provides feedback related to gaming, liquor, cannabis, social responsibility and AGLC as an organization.
  • Survey determines the incidence of Albertans who gamble responsibly, drink alcohol responsibly and use cannabis, while also measuring awareness of AGLC-led social responsibility programs and initiatives.

Stakeholder Surveys:

  • Four separate surveys are conducted with charitable gaming licensees, gaming retailers, liquor licensees and agencies and cannabis licensees to measure levels of satisfaction with services provided by AGLC.

Advanis, an independent professional survey company, is conducting the surveys on behalf of AGLC with a random representative sample of Albertans. Only individuals who are randomly selected will have the option to participate in the survey.

Survey results are highlighted in AGLC annual reports and used to improve business processes. As always, all information provided from participants will be protected and remain anonymous.

Being open and accountable ensures AGLC continues to keep the trust of its stakeholders and Albertans. If you have any questions about the surveys, please contact AGLC at 780-447-8600, toll free at 1-800-272-8876, or online at aglc.ca/contact-us
