Liquor Bulletin

This bulletin is to advise all retail liquor store licensees of an amendment to the Retail Liquor Store Handbook (RLSH).
Effective immediately, section 4.3 of the RLSH has been amended by permitting the sale of energy drinks in liquor stores.
The amended RLSH may be accessed on AGLC’s website at aglc.ca.
While the sale of energy drinks in liquor stores will be permitted, AGLC’s social responsibility messaging through the DrinkSense program will remind Albertans that the overconsumption of energy drinks combined with alcohol can lead to adverse health risks.
