A comprehensive review of the SEL Policies and Guidelines was recently undertaken in support of government’s red tape reduction initiative and to ease regulatory requirements for special event licensees. As a result of this review, several policy amendments were approved. Highlights of the amendments include:
- combining the five Private SEL documents into one Private SEL document;
- eliminating the General Policy document by moving its relevant policies into the two remaining Private and Public SEL documents and deleting repetitive policy.
The amended SEL Policies and Guidelines may be accessed on AGLC’s website at aglc.ca.
We encourage interested applicants for SEL events to read the relevant policy for full licensing requirements.
