Amendments to the Racing Entertainment Centre Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines

This bulletin is to advise all racing entertainment centre facility licensees of IMPORTANT AMENDMENTS to the Racing Entertainment Centre Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines (RECTCOG). The following policies came into effect September 25, 2023.

• AGLC is committed to reviewing policies to meet the needs of stakeholders, while maintaining an effective regulatory environment. As a result, the following policy amendments have been made to the RECTCOG:
  • Subsection 1.14 has been amended to reflect minor updates to the Deal Us In Casino Staff Training certification requirements.
  • Subsections 3.8.5 and 7.2.23 have been amended to update references to align with changes to the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Regulation.
  • Subsection 3.8.6 has been amended to reflect changes to the Licence/Registration Application Package forms by updating current form names and numbers.
  • Subsection 4.5.3 has been amended, enabling the option for designated CCTV cameras with a resolution of 1080P or greater, to be set to record at 20 images per second, as approved by AGLC.

Please familiarize yourself with the amended policies, update your Racing Entertainment Centre Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines as required, and ensure all affected staff are notified of the new requirements.
