Policy Amendments – Host First Nation (HFN) Red Tape Reduction (RTR) Review
April 13, 2021
This bulletin is to advise all Host First Nation facility licensees and registered gaming workers of IMPORTANT AMENDMENTS to the Host First Nation Charitable Casino Policies Handbook (HFNCCPH).
- In keeping with Government of Alberta red tape reduction initiatives, please note the following policy changes:
- Policy amendments were made to reduce the repetition of a regulatory requirement in Section 7 with respect to the accounting of funding and disbursements to charitable casino funded programs that must be maintained and have supported documentation.
- It is still considered a necessary requirement which has been moved to Section 6.5 as an internal control and has been removed throughout Section 7.
Please familiarize yourself with the amended policies, update your HFNCCPH as required, and ensure all affected staff are notified of the new requirement(s).
The amended HFNCCPH may be accessed on AGLC’s website at aglc.ca.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Judy VanDorp at judy.vandorp@aglc.ca.
