The AGLC 2015-16 Annual Report highlights the significant contributions gaming and liquor activities are making to Alberta’s revenue and the success of many community initiatives across the province.
Highlights from this year’s annual report include an overview of Alberta’s charitable gaming activities, which earned $352 million in revenue. As noted in the report, more than $1.5 billion from provincial gaming was placed in the Alberta Lottery Fund. From the liquor side of business, more than $855 million went to the General Revenue Fund from liquor and licensing operations.
