Liquor Store Physical Separation

This bulletin is to advise all retail liquor store licensees and applicants of amendments to section 3.1 of the Retail Liquor Store Handbook (RLSH).

Effective immediately, the five metre minimum physical separation requirement from affiliated businesses has been removed. In accordance with Schedule 2 of the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Regulation (GLCR), liquor stores remain required to be physically separate from affiliated businesses.
