News Release

Bluberi Gaming arrives in Canada with first stop in Alberta

Alberta Gaming, Liquor & Cannabis (AGLC) is pleased to welcome Bluberi Gaming to the province. The company will bring a high-quality gaming experience north of the border, with some of their top performing titles being added at casinos in Alberta.

Bluberi’s experience in the United States will help with an effective expansion as they establish machines in Alberta’s robust, physical gaming market. Installations will occur throughout the spring and titles include Devil’s Lock and Rocket Rumble.

“Alberta players want the latest, most popular slot games so adding the Las Vegas-based electronic gaming machine manufacturer Bluberi Gaming to casino and racing entertainment centre floors is exciting. Their slot games will both enhance players’ entertainment experience while continuing AGLC’s stewardship of a socially responsible environment.”

Steve Lautischer, Executive Vice President, Business Development, AGLC

AGLC will work with Bluberi to integrate GameSense’s responsible gambling tools and features that promote healthy gambling habits to players. These include budgeting limits and activity check ins. GameSense Advisors are also staffed at each Alberta casino and racing entertainment centre to assist patrons with any responsible gambling needs or questions they may have.

Revenue generated through gaming activities in Alberta goes to the provincial government to support valued programs and services that Albertans rely on every day. In 2022-23, $1.5 billion in net gaming income was generated for the province’s general revenue fund from all provincial gaming activities.
