AGLC Information Requirements for Liquor Warehouses

This bulletin is to advise liquor warehousers of amendments to Section 3.1 of the Liquor Warehouse Handbook (LWH) in relation to information processing requirements. Effective immediately, AGLC approved warehousers must:

  • meet the specifications defined in the Integration User Guide document for the purpose of sending, receiving and processing information to and from AGLC;
  • have an Application Programming Interface (API) to perform transactions related to:
    • sales and returns;
    • order fulfillment;
    • cash collection;
    • inventory management;
    • business partners; and
    • product and pricing
  • for each day there is activity, warehousers must process and electronically submit the following reconciled information to AGLC by 11:59 p.m.
    • sales and return orders;
    • shipping confirmation;
    • inventory receipts (i.e., details of each receipt of liquor into the warehouse); and
    • inventory adjustment details, including an explanation of all returned, faulty or broken liquor and all liquor inventory transfers to and from other warehouse sales and return orders.
  • for each day there is activity, warehousers must also process and electronically submit an inventory snapshot that includes beginning and ending inventory (with transfer or shipment receipts of inventory in and out of the warehouse) by 3:30 a.m. the following day.
