Liquor Bulletin

This bulletin is to advise Class A, B, C and F liquor licensees that a review of the Liquor Licensee Handbook (LLH) was recently undertaken. As a result of the review, the following amendments were approved and are effective immediately:
| Section | Amendment |
| 3.7.6a) | Licensees are no longer required to submit an application to AGLC for public catered events of less than 500 guests. |
| 3.8 | Minor amendments to the Ferment on Premises policies designed to increase flexibility for licensees and customers. |
| 4.1.4c) | Licensees no longer have to submit to AGLC a request for an extension of their licence to provide liquor service for events in banquet rooms and meeting rooms if the event is for less than 500 guests. |
| 4.3.4 | Licensees no longer have to request approval from AGLC to cater liquor at a public function held in conjunction with a community event if the event is for less than 200 guests. |
| 5.1.1 | Class A, B, C and F licensees have the option to begin liquor service at 6:00 a.m. |
| 5.2.3 | The minimum prices for on-premises liquor drinks shall not be less than the following: a) Sprits and liqueurs: $4.00 / 28.5 ml (1 oz); b) Wine: $0.50 / 28.5 ml (1 oz); c) Draught beer: $0.25 / 28.5 ml (1 oz); d) Bottled / can beer, ciders or coolers: $4.00 / 28.5 ml (1 oz). |
In addition, some sections have been re-numbered to no longer include previously deleted sections.
The revised LLH may be accessed online.
