Racing Entertainment Centre Bulletin

This bulletin is to advise all REC facility licensees and registered gaming workers of IMPORTANT AMENDMENTS to the Racing Entertainment Center Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines (RECTCOG). The following policies are effective June 9, 2026.

AGLC is committed to reviewing policies to meet the needs of stakeholders, while maintaining an effective regulatory environment. As a result, policy amendments have been made to Sections 1, 7 and 9 of the RECTCOG:

  • Subsection 1.1 has been amended to add a definition for inducements.
  • Subsection 7.1 has been amended to further clarify that REC facility licensees must not be affiliated with online gaming sites to qualify participants for slot tournaments.
  • Subsection 9.1 has been amended to state REC facility licensees must not advertise or offer inducements on behalf of an iGaming Operator.
  • Subsection 9.2 has been amended to further clarify activities included/not included in promotions.
  • Subsection 9.3 has been amended to specify that AGLC's Winner's Edge Program must not be offered in conjunction with sportsbook operations or iGaming offers or promotions.

Please familiarize yourself with the amended policies, update your Racing Entertainment Centre Terms & Conditions and Operating Guidelines as required, and ensure all affected staff are notified of the new requirements.
