This bulletin is to advise all lottery retailers of IMPORTANT AMENDMENTS to the Lottery Retailer Policy Handbook (LRPH). The following policies are effective June 30, 2026.

AGLC is committed to reviewing policies to meet the needs of stakeholders, while maintaining an effective regulatory environment. AGLC is introducing additional compensation for retailers who sell winning tickets that have a prize of $10,000 or greater. As a result, policy amendments have been made to Section 2.2 of the LRPH:

  • Subsection 2.2 has been updated with a revised table for additional compensation, including amounts for retailers who sell tickets resulting in a major win.
  • Subsections 2.2.7-2.2.12 have been added to outline the requirements for participating in the Additional Compensation – Major Winners program.

The amended Lottery Retailer Policy Handbook may be accessed online.

Please familiarize yourself with the amended policies, update your Lottery Retailer Policy Handbook as required, and ensure all affected staff are notified of the new requirements.
