Liquor Bulletin

This bulletin is to advise all estate manufacturers of amendments to Section 3.2 of the Liquor Manufacturer Handbook (LMH).
Section 3.2.4 of the LMH has been amended, as licensed estate manufacturers may now source up to 75% of their agricultural input needs from other sources. This includes:
- Fruit and/or honey needs for the production of fruit wine, mead or braggot;
- Apple needs for the production of cider;
- Grain needs for the production of beer; and
- Fermentable sugars for the production of spirits.
The remaining 25% of raw materials used must be harvested by the estate manufacturer.
