Jason J.J. Bodnar is a senior lawyer specializing in administrative law. He served for 25 years as in‑house counsel with the Workers’ Compensation Board of Alberta, where he advised on statutory interpretation, tribunal decision‑making, judicial reviews, privacy, and human rights matters. He has appeared before the Appeals Commission for Alberta Workers’ Compensation, the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and Court of Appeal, and as an intervener at the Supreme Court of Canada. Jason has held numerous governance and committee roles, including roles on the WCB Ethics Committee, the Canadian Bar Association’s Legislative and Law Reform and Access to Justice Committees, the Children’s Health Foundation, the Canada‑Japan Business Association, the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, and editorial leadership positions with the UBC Law Review. He also has experience as a Sessional Instructor at MacEwan University where he developed and taught advanced communication law courses.
