Western Canada Lottery Corporation

In Alberta, lottery tickets are sold through some 2,006 retail sites including convenience stores, shopping mall kiosks, drug stores and gas outlets. Each retailer is authorized to sell the tickets under agreement with the AGLC and the Western Canada Lottery Corporation.

The Gaming and Liquor Act authorizes the AGLC to conduct and manage provincial lotteries. In addition to installing and maintaining ticket lottery terminals, the AGLC trains retailers and communicates regularly with them about the ticket lottery program.
