Lottery Fund, which is made up of the government's share
of net revenues from VLTs, slot machines, and ticket lotteries.

In Alberta, lottery
tickets are sold through some 2,006 retail sites including convenience
stores, shopping mall kiosks, drug stores and gas outlets. Each
retailer is authorized to sell the tickets under agreement with
the AGLC and the Western Canada
and Liquor Act authorizes the AGLC to conduct and manage
provincial lotteries. In addition to installing and maintaining
ticket lottery terminals, the AGLC trains retailers and communicates
regularly with them about the ticket lottery program.
