Organization
The AGLC is an agent of the Government
of Alberta, overseen by the Ministry of Finance. The AGLC consists of a Board and
a Corporation.
The AGLC:
- ensures that gaming and liquor activities in Alberta are conducted honestly, openly, and with the highest level of integrity
- endeavours to maximize the economic benefits of gaming and liquor activities in the province to benefit Albertans, and
- administers the Alberta Lottery Fund under the provisions of the Gaming and Liquor Act.
